PTO April Minutes

Call meeting to order at 6:09pm by Mark Cardone

Treasurer’s Report (Chrissy Guilfoil)

-Checking:  $6,921.25(Keybank) and EdgeFed
-PTO Savings:  $25.00
Be-Marr (roller skating):  $660.25
Book Fair:  $2,917.34 profit

Committee Reports:
-Science Fair:  May 8th, Mrs. J is developing a commercial and we will have judges
-Board Elections:  elections will be done on paper ballot instead of the May PTO meeting, which will be cancelled.
-Teacher Appreciation Lunch:  May 11th will be done in the Cafeteria since it is a half day.  Christine Wood is heading it up. 
-Red Cross: Wednesday, May 30 from 3-7pm.  Volunteers for Registration and Canteen.  Every student who gets a donor gets a “Wall of Heros” badge for Red Cross blanket or Red Cross Medal.  Register early, need about 35 to sign up in advance, goal is to get 25 donors; also important to do Rapid Pass
-Book Fair:  Great job!  We will take the profit instead of the scholastic dollars as we have money in the account still.
-Ziti Dinner and Silent Auction:  April 5th from 5:30-7pm with take out starting at 4:30pm.  Basil Leaf will be catering.  Looking for 5-10 volunteers to help.  125 tickets sold.  Lots of silent auction items and donations from the various grades.  Kindergarten did a great job collecting donations!
-Dance Program
               -Picture Day:  March 28
               -Rehearsal:  Wednesday, May 2
               -Recital:  Thursday, May 3 at Liverpool High School and Chuckleberries afterwards and we will get 20% proceeds.
-Carnival:  Met with Contact to help plan this event.  They have 6 bounce houses coming.  Vendor tables will be there.  Candyland will still happen.  Families will still pay for food and games.
Reminder of Shopping Programs:  Boxtops, Shoparoo, AmazonSmile, Price Chopper, Tops

New Business:
-Summer Program:  We have enough students for one homeroom for each grade but would love to get to grow and have 2 homerooms for each grade.  It is from July 9th until August 2 (Monday through Thursday, 8am-2:30pm).  With free breakfast and lunch and transportation provided.
-Welcome to Kindergarten Teachers- Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Hickey, and Mrs. Lindaman.
-April 8 is Adventures in Art at Liverpool High School
