Dollars for Scholars (Theresa Vasla)
Every senior can apply for a scholarship in Liverpool
through Scholarship America. This year
we gave out 189 and 225 applied. Program
has been around since 1970 with 3 major fundraisers: phone-a-thon, golf tournament, and a
bowl-a-thon (February 4th, 2018 from 11am-2pm)
Bricks4Kids: 6-weeks
program on STEM (Soule Road did it) (Jecenia Bresett/Joyce Cardone)
-2 parent volunteers, send home fliers, sign out sheets, for
$65 for the 6-week program
-10-24 students in total
-Thursdays might be the best night (late bus is for 4th,
5th, 6th grades)
Another request for a Mother/Son Event (Mummy-Son Dance for
future idea…)
-Any ideas, pass them along to Mark Cardone
-Decorate your bike (Hike or Tryke); Winter Warrior Wipe Out
(Sledding), Hiking or Fishing or Camping Trip
Inflatable Movie Screen Idea, 315 Rocks Trend, Warrior Gear
in School Store/at DDE Dinners Out. Skate downtown in Clinton Square?
Chess Program is huge this year. Maxed out this year at 48 students.
